As Training Specialist, you are expected to:

Core competencies
- Excellent training and facilitation skills that come from a deep understanding of adult learning methodologies and the nonprofit and government sector
- Excellent knowledge of communication elements, such as, but not limited to, communication strategies, digital marketing, content production, public relations, social research, community relations, and monitoring and evaluation
- Ability to fluently conduct trainings in English and Filipino
Specific Responsibilities
Training Design Research, Development, and Implementation
- Lead Evident’s research, development and implementation of education and training courses on communications, including but not limited to marketing, social and behavior change communication, and their corresponding components (strategy, monitoring and evaluation, digital marketing, public relations, crisis communications, leadership communications, community relations, content production, and so on)
- Maintain a strong understanding of Evident’s products and services and how it aligns and becomes relevant to client’s communication needs
- Analyze training needs and requirements to improve existing training curricula, and develop new curriculum
- Deliver approved training materials based on client’s needs and requirements
- Collaborate with other team members in the design and implementation of courses, often taking responsibility for training courses, specifically applying principles of adult learning design for both online and offline or face-to-face modalities
- Collaborate with other team members in the logistics requirements for trainings
- Develop progress reports that show Evident’s overall training milestones vis-a-vis targets
- Support the Human Resources unit in the development of internal training plans, as needed
Strategy and Planning
- Lead the development of a training strategy and implementation plan for Evident’s clients
- Develop course evaluation procedures and conduct follow-up review of completed trainings to evaluate effectiveness
- Develop, update, organize, and manage training manuals, multimedia materials, and other educational materials
- Lead and facilitate accreditation and other administration/operations activities related to the conduct of training services
- Commit to continuous learning and staying abreast of trends in communication, trainings, social media, NGO communications, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, public policy, and other related fields
Business Development
- Support the team in the marketing and promotion of Evident’s training services’
- Collaborate with other team members in the development of a training marketing plan
