EVIDENT was recognized with a Philippine Quill Award for its pioneering efforts in digital marketing for sports. After two years of working with the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters, on and off the court, Evident’s team of young creatives proved that taking the game closer to the fans is possible with just a phone and a genuine love for basketball.
Accepting the award onstage was Evident CEO Cecile Dominguez-Yujuico, Fuel Masters Team Manager Paolo Bugia, 2019 PBA Rookie of the Year Jason Perkins and members of Evident’s sports marketing content team.

”At Evident, we love working with insurgents and underdogs. Working with the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters was a great challenge for us since they were a brand new franchise in the PBA and we were up against established legacy teams,” Dominguez-Yujuico said upon receiving the award last August 30, 2019. “But through creativity, agility, and passion for community building, we were able to help Phoenix Fuels build one of the most engaged online fan communities in local sports.”
This is the second Philippine Quill award that Evident has received from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Evident first Philippine Quill award was for their work with PBEd’s STEP UP “Dear Teacher” campaign under the category “Non-profit campaigns” under the communication management division.
The Philippine Quill is an award given by the IABC to recognize the country’s best communicators. Now on it’s 17th year, The Philippines Quill Awards is a “showcase of bright ideas, groundbreaking concepts, marvelous executions, and resounding results.”
