On November 29, 2022, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung hosted the very first KAS Solutions Conference on Fighting Fake News, Misinformation, and Disinformation. This conference provided the general public with tools to fight fake news, misinformation, and disinformation. This was achieved through a series of different breakout parallel sessions led by organizations from the media, public relations, tech, and law sectors (including Rappler, Data Ethics PH, and Evident).
Our CEO, Cecile Dominguez-Yuijuico, and Director for Advocacy Communications, Dove Subingsubing, led Breakout Room #2: Fighting Fire with Fire: How to Communicate with Impact through Public Relations Firms.
Atty. Leonor “Leni” Gerona Robredo, 14th Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines and Chairperson of the Angat Buhay Foundation, also gave the Keynote Speech at the start of the conference.
