Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced writer with a demonstrated writing portfolio of long-form articles or social media posts, done in a professional or personal capacity. She/He should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be a storyteller with a passion for words. Creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking should be second nature to the role, and candidates should enjoy creating easily understandable and shareable content.

Copywriter: Main Tasks

  • Produces written content for social media, newsroom articles, email newsletters, press releases, and others
  • Manages clients’ social media pages
  • Participates in client pitches under the supervision of the copy lead and creative director
  • Creates brand or social media playbooks and strategizes on how best to market clients’ products or services based on gathered insights
  • Coordinates with the internal account team to ensure that creative output meets the requirements of the client brief

Specific Tasks: Strategy and Planning

  • Ideates on how best to achieve client’s marketing goals through content and social media channels
  • Stays up-to-date on trends in content marketing, advertising, and public relations
  • Assists the copy lead and creative director in preparing and presenting pitch decks for potential clients
  • Contributes to the creation social media playbooks
  • Does event coverage for clients whenever necessary
  • Attends workshops to gain additional knowledge/skills as a content marketer

Specific Tasks: Production

  • Collaborates with designers to produce content calendars for social media and newsletters
  • Writes social posts, articles, press releases, email newsletters, and other forms of content on a wide range of topics in behalf of Evident and its clients
  • Ensures that all produced content is aligned with the creative brief and client strategy
  • Ensures that content produced is factual and free of typographical and grammatical errors
  • Consults and clears with the copy lead regarding all written output
  • Applies client revisions within reasonable turnaround times
  • Manages client’s social media pages, including scheduling of posts, and responding to inquiries and comments
  • Organizes files for documentation and turnover to the team and/or client
