We’re looking for a full-time project-based Content Creator for Sports to help us create the best online sports fan experience for our award-winning client, the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters. Your main role will be to work closely with the basketball team, attending games, practices and other assigned events while posting real-time content for millions of fans on social media.

Main Tasks

  • Attend games or practices as needed, up to 3 times a week, and report to the office twice a week
  • Cover basketball games, PBA draft, team practices, community and marketing events for various social platforms
  • Create and post agile shareable content appropriate for specific social media platforms
  • Work behind-the-scenes during games or events, whenever assigned
  • Manage content on social media pages (stories and in-feed), including scheduling of approved posts
  • As necessary, reach out to clients’ stakeholders or customers using a variety of tools or tactics
  • When required, run promotions and campaigns on social media and track their success
  • Coordinate with the internal account team to ensure that output meets the requirements of the client brief
  • Coordinate with the creative and analytics teams for feedback and suggestions to improve content performance
  • Collaborate with the sales and partnerships teams to develop social and editorial campaigns to reach target audiences through organic and paid content, influencer campaigns, and media distribution
  • Maintain a professional and relatable voice and style in all produced materials
  • Consistently reflect brand tone and persona in all produced materials and interactions
  • Commit to continuous learning and staying abreast of trends in communications, social media, and related fields
  • All other related tasks, duties, and special projects that may be assigned from time to time as directed by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Love for basketball and sports
  • Must be male to enter the male locker room
  • Adept in developing and publishing social media posts, in a professional or personal capacity
  • Visual storyteller with a knack for engaging an audience
  • Skilled in using a smartphone and/or mirrorless camera
  • Capacity to work and react quickly in a digital news environment
  • Excellent visual and written communication skills
  • Creates easily understandable and shareable content
  • Photoshop and video editing skills a plus
