Job Overview

The Senior Art Director at Evident plays a crucial role in shaping creative excellence across the agency, working within an integrated team setting that includes accounts, data, media buying, and creatives. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and Creative Leadership

  • Participate actively in the strategic briefing process to ensure that visual and creative aspects align with campaign goals.
  • Lead the art direction for major projects, from concept development through to execution, ensuring consistency with the client’s vision and agency standards.
  • Mentor and manage junior art staff, promoting a culture of creativity and continuous improvement within the creative department.

Execution and Production Oversight

  • Manage multiple creative projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Oversee the creation of visual materials across a variety of media including digital, print, and social platforms.
  • Supervise photo and video shoots, providing direction to ensure that the visual content meets the strategic and aesthetic requirements of the project.

Technical Proficiency and Innovation

  • Demonstrate expert skills in graphic design and art direction, with a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Apply knowledge of the latest trends in digital design, motion graphics, and video editing to elevate the creative output of the team.
  • Explore and incorporate new technologies and creative tools into the workflow to enhance project results and team capabilities.

Team Collaboration and Development

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and development discussions with team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Associate Creative Director and other department heads to ensure a unified approach to client briefs and agency projects.
  • Ensure that all creative outputs are not only visually compelling but also inclusive and aligned with ethical marketing practices.


  • At least 4-5 years of significant experience as an Art Director or similar role within a creative agency environment.
  • A robust portfolio that showcases a wide range of creative and art direction skills across multiple channels such as web, mobile, social media, and experiential marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a creative team, manage complex projects, and work collaboratively across different functions.

Technical Skills And Key Competencies
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Skills in video editing and basic motion graphics, with familiarity using tools like Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
